Sofaboats Terms & conditions for using our web site
About Us
The agreement is a contract for custom made goods and services between us the supplier and you the consumer. This contract is concluded when you become bound to buy the goods and we become bound to supply them. Both of these acts will have occurred when we have confirmed your order and accepted it.
When you agree to purchase bespoke furniture from us we will confirm:-
1 The items listed separately on your sales agreement.
2 The design shape, fabric, cushions shape, fillings and feet as chosen by you.
3 The approximate sizes as specified by you.
4 The purchase price.
5 The approximate delivery date.
6 How to pay the deposit and subsequent balance payments.
7 Your address and or delivery address and telephone numbers.
You should ensure that everything listed on your sales agreement is correct and meet your exact requirements. Once we have accepted and confirmed your order, and taken a deposit, it may not be possible to amend your order.
Final Payment.
The items on the order will not be delivered unless the outstanding balance is paid. Payment can be made prior to delivery, or on the delivery day, as cash or credit/debit card. Please note we do not accept American Express cards. Also be aware we cannot accept personal cheques on delivery day. We do not offer credit facilities.
Delivery arrangements.
The Sofaboats delivery service, consists of two highly trained employees arriving at your site and installing the furniture on site. all work is guaranteed, but an initial on site assessment will be carried out, prior to fitting, due to any hidden wiring or pipe work that may affect the installation
Guarantee
All our bespoke furniture carries a 5 year frame and construction guarantee against faulty workmanship and/or faulty materials. Cushion fillings, fabrics, leathers, vinyl, feet, castors and accessories are guaranteed for one year from the delivery date.
We do not guarantee any Fabric supplied by you the client. This does not affect your statutory rights.
These guarantees do not cover fair wear and tear, neglect, abuse or misuse, loss or damage due to unreasonable exposure to water or weather; loss or damage due to fire, smoke, explosion, lightening, sunlight, animals, infestation by animals or insects, theft, accidental damage or loss caused by a third party.
Remember.
Because bespoke furniture is created for, and is unique to you, it does not have an automatic right to return or cancel it. Should there ever be a reason to return your custom made furniture, there is a 40% restocking fee, we cannot offer a full refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.
We cannot accept responsibility for any advertising, pictures or claims made on any other web site.

All fabric, leather and vinyl and accessories will be as true a representation as possible to the colour and texture of any samples supplied to you.
Supply dates are approximate and subject to the availability of all components.
